What is official
- Rockstar's announcements only list PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
- There is no PC pre-order on Steam, Epic or the Rockstar Games Launcher.
- Take-Two's CEO said in May 2026 that the company's big hits generally end up on all platforms over time, without giving a date for GTA 6.
What is only a rumour
In October 2026, GamesBeat reported, citing anonymous industry sources, that a PC version could arrive in the first quarter of 2027. Rockstar has not confirmed it. Treat it as a possibility, not a date.
How long did it take before?
| Game | Console release | PC release |
|---|
| GTA V | September 2013 | April 2015 |
| Red Dead Redemption 2 | October 2018 | November 2019 |
| GTA VI | November 19, 2026 | Not announced |
Rockstar has always launched on console first and on PC later, from one to two years after.
